Q1.  Tesfaye Bekele can be excluded as a candidate since not even a miracle worker could not succeeded with the custom tailoring.  Blair Boyer was high on the suspect list because he was spotted in a similar outfit in this race (see photo), but he has offered a plausible reason to be excused.  John Scherrer's name was included here solely to lure him into writing a note of complaint.  By process of elimination, that leaves ...

Q2. (b)  Stuart Calderwood was reported in New York Runner as doing 3,237 (note: not sure about the exact number, but it is something stratospheric) sit-ups every day.  This is the stuff of urban legend.

Q4. (d)  Yes, this is a really unexpected side of David Pullman.  (a) is false.  (b) is true most of the time (if it isn't the Hollywood Reporter, then it's Variety or some such) so that it is not worthy of mentioning.  (c) is the unanswered question.
