The Gutter Poets

These photos were taken at the Nightingale gig for the Gutter Poets band on August 20th, 1998.  This event was marked by the fact that about half the audience were Central Park Track Club people, including a few people who ducked the 7pm workout to come here ("Shame on you!").

Photo 4: This is the lead singer.  His name is Stuart Calderwood.  After he introduced the rest of the band, someone asked him: "So what is YOUR name?"  He answered, in a British accent: "I don't know.  I can't remember.  Could it be Alan Ruben?"

Photo 15: Here is the secret how the whole gig works smoothly.  Stuart has a cheat sheet listing the songs right in front of his feet.

Photo 25: Scott Willet and Aubin Sullivan --- a great moment for the overall  male and female winners of the 13th Annual New York Triathlon Club Triathlon Series last week.  This picture was also a great moment for Audrey Kingsley, who was very proud of the fact that she ducked out as soon as she spied the camera.
