PRE-RACE
- Photo
001: The Rasulo family takes care of personal business.
- Photo
002: The other competition: which triathlete has
the thickest thighs? Ross Galitsky or Ramon Bermo?
- Photo
003: Decisions, decisions, decisions. Ramon
Bermo has to decide if he is going to wear thick or thin socks.
- Photo
004: The Europeans: Graeme Reid and Suso
Montero.
- Photo
005: David Smith to Zeb Nelessen:
"Alright, Zeb, you can tell me what you did to yourself ..."
- Photo
006: Alston Brown: "I asked the
coach to attach the chip to my shoe, and now it's gone!"
- Photo
007: Toby Tanser: "My new equipment
sponsor is Mizuno."
- Photo
008: The full starting line: everybody is
looking left or right, except for Rob Zand who looks straight
at his camera person.

154: Audrey Kingsley and Shula Sarner.
Three teams (CPTC, WSX and WTC) were tied for fifth place
in total points, and CPTC was awarded fifth place because our
fifth runner Shula Sarner was in 44th place and ahead
of the fifth runners on the other two teams. To get there,
Shula had to pass three more runners (one WSX runner in 45th
place, one WTC runner in 47th place and also got a little
help from Khalid Khannouchi's wife Sandra in 46th
place).

POST-RACE

171: Isaya Okwiya and Bola Awofeso

172: Sammy Ruben in complaint mode
- Photo
173: Aubin Sullivan was not in the race today,
but she was seen earlier walking around wearing a back brace.
She recounted this story: "Some guy came over to me in Union
Square and said, 'Oh, that brace is so cool! How do you
get one of those?' and I said, 'It's easy. All you
need is a broken back. The insurance will cover the cost
too!' That shut him up good." By the way, back
braces or not, Aubin swam for her relay team at last week's NYC
Triathlon on zero training, leaving her teammates (especially
Craig Chilton) in awe.

174: These are the two remaining members of our
famous 'Nurses' enclave: Ana Echeverri and Julie Denney.
When two midwives get together, what do you think they talk about?
Baby talk?
- Photo
175: We know that we are gathered for the team photo
and that this is a photo, but this is not a team photo.
One of the two principals: "I really looked like as if I
didn't want to be there (note: Boston Marathon)."
- Photo
176: The Golden boys Olivier Baillet and
Zeb Nelessen in Central Park (not Malibu)
- Photo
177: Lovely child of Scott Willett and Julie
Denney. What is the boy's name? ... Well, well,
well ... you're gonna have to ask them yourself ...
TEAM PHOTO SESSION
Since there are many people in this photo, we are
going to publish multiple shots. Bola Awofeso said,
"I don't think anyone will be able to name all these people"
Yes, that's true, because we absolutely have no idea who was that
very tall person in the back who draped an orange jacket over his
head ...
THE RESERVOIR DOGS
- Photo
191: Our team photos would not have been possible
without the assistance of a TRD runner, Rie Yahata.
So we return the favor by taking a team photo for them.
The Reservoir Dogs is coached by none other than Toby Tanser.
- Photo
192: Actually, they don't need our help because
they have their own team photograher, but we will also take a
photo of their team photographer taking their team photo.
Now ... the big question must be: Is there someone behind us taking
photos of us taking photos?
- Photo
193: One extra shot of the team photographer taking
the team photo with the team banner.
