PRE-RACE
- Photo
01: Stacy Creamer preps her bicycle.
- Photo
02: The compulsory briefing before the race.
- Photo
03: For veterans like Ross Galitsky and John
Megaw, this must be exciting new information.
- Photo
04: Ditto for Laura Miller and Stacy Creamer
- Photo
05: Officials confer. One of them is Margaret
Nolan, who was a paid entrant until she realized that she
brought the wrong shoes and the front tube on her bike was airless.
- Photo
06: But nothing beats an attentive and involved
audience such as Stuart Calderwood.
THE SWIM
- Photo
11: The swim takes place in Lasker Pool at East
Drive and 108th Street. There are 15 swimming lanes, with
5 swimmers per lane.
- Photo
12: The total swim distance of 400m is covered by
going back and forth.
- Photo
13: Race is started in four waves. Laura
Miller is in the second wave.

BIKE
- Photo
31: Irene Jackson-Schon said, "Hey,
I'm just jogging. Why are you taking a photo of me?"
Why not?
- Photo
32: The bike leg is two times the six mile loop.
After one loop, Ross Galitsky is in fourth place, and right
behind third place.
TRANSITION 2
FINISH LINE
- Photo
51: Walking across the finish line in fourth place
is Ross Galitsky, who shaked his head and said, "Bad
day."
- Photo
52: Randy Ehrlich, in fifth place
- Photo
53: Otto Hoering in sixth place
- Photo
54: And then the cheers went up for the first woman,
sprinting around the swimming pool deck at the far end.
- Photo
55: And the female winner is ... Stacy Creamer!
- Photo
56: This was a particular gratifying win for Stacy,
who has finished in second place for the last four years behind
four different persons.
- Photo
57: John Megaw (with one knee) in eleventh
place. Our top five finishers were 3-4-5-6-11 overall in
this race.

59: Laura Miller
POST-RACE
- Photo
61: By tradition, finishers jump back into the pool
to 'cool down'. Randy Ehrlich and Ross Galitsky
- Photo
62: Randy and Ross talk to Aubin Sullivan.
One thing that we are sure of is that they are not complimenting
her for her new fashion wear.
- Photo
63: Stacy Creamer asked, "How did I
look?" Answer: You look very good in that swimming
suit. As for the race, she was around 1:20 behind after
the bike, and make it all back plus some more on the run.
Let's not forget that she always runs the Club Championship 5
Miler on the preceding day.
- Photo
64: Stacy Creamer takes a dip in the pool
too.
- Photo
65: Aubin Sullivan reviews, "Laura
Miller always has the best swimsuits."
- Photo
66: Vincent Trinquesse goes for the food
- Photo
67: Peter Allen asks Otto Hoering,
"Is there someone on the team named Ross? I'm supposed
to have passed him near the end."
- Photo
68: Rob Zand said, "Please take many
pictures of number 66."
- Photo
69: Number 66 (Keri-Nicole Dillman) again.
