Note: The runner with the white t-shirt right in front of me is Umberto Risi, semifinalist in the 3000 steeplechase at the Olympic Games in Mexico City (1968) and living legend of marathon running in Rome. As the story goes, Umberto almost singlehandedly started what now is the Rome Marathon running a 42Km course with a friend on January 10, 1965 and starting a tradition. Now 60 years old, Umberto still enjoys running and is an Olympic-level running coach.
