  • Photo 10Sylvie Kimché, Alayne Adams and Tim Evans.  Alayne was unlucky to lose indirectly to a Canadian.  Had Gordon Bakoulis won the Runner Of The Year, Alayne would have been top female 40-44.  Carol Howe of Canada was the Runner Of The Year, which moved Gordon back into top female 40-44.  Alayne had the distinction of having two overall wins in scoring races --- one in a Van Cortlandt Park cross country race and the other at the Staten Island Half Marathon.

  • Photo 21  Alan Ruben was the male 45-49 winner.  He won 10 of the 14 NYRR races and finished 2nd in the other 4.  Consistency and durability.

  • Photo 22  Sylvie Kimché was the winner of the female 55-59 division.  She deserves to receive a mileage award too, as she flew in from Columbus to win 14 out of 15 NYRR races.

Not everyone who scored during the year was present tonight.  For the record, we will remind everyone of our scorers during the year (note: the number in brackets are the number of races in which they scored).
